The CMA Video production team travelled to Nottingham to one of the bases of Homeserve, one of the UK’s leading home assistance providers. Filming in conjunction with Study Academy, the online training marketplace, we filmed the training centre that Homeserve have for their staff and in this particular instance their apprentices.
Ensuring that all of the correct health and safety procedures were in place regarding social distancing and cleansing operations, our crew interviewed several members of the management team as well as some of the apprentices that were currently training at the centre. The facility has fully functional ‘sets’ that are used by the trainees including kitchen areas, central heating systems, living rooms and more giving the apprentices the opportunity to learn in the most realistic environment as possible.
Our video production team captured all elements of the training centre to showcase exactly what is on offer for all new recruits. Ultimately the video will be used by Study Academy and Homeserve to showcase their courses, their facilities and a general overview of the educational offering that they are able to provide.
As a corporate video production project, this represented many similar types of videos that we have produced which are perfect as a showcase of what the business can do. The overall formula includes a soundbite from a key figure or leader of the project followed by some key shots of the subject matter to further explain what the speaker is talking about. We then featured some soundbites from the apprentices themselves to get an idea of how the training has helped them, almost like ‘mini testimonials’, followed by some further establishing shots of the whole project.
At the end, a call to action is included so that the viewer knows what to do after watching the video.
