Our regular video blog, the CMA Week, with Luan Mardenborough is out now and this time we are looking at projects with Balfour Beatty and Gamma.

The two video projects are both very contrasting in terms of how they have been used by the respective clients.  Firstly Gamma asked us to film their annual conference for the third year with the theme of space which included a keynote speech from Brian Cox and other speakers dressing up as Guardians of the Galaxy.  The conference and the subsequent event video was all about client and customer engagement and was designed to update their external stakeholders on new developments in the industry and what Gamma as an organisation will be doing in the next 12 months.  The video has proved to be an effective method of communicating with customers and in some cases, re-engaging with clients too.

The Balfour Beatty video was used as an internal marketing tool to celebrate a landmark achievement by the all of the staff at the construction company.  This video production was to recognise two million hours of working time without a significant incident from any of the staff or contractors on site.  Purely used as a tool to communicate to the staff it was shown on site and sent to the staff to celebrate the achievement.  It featured the celebration event so that those not involved in the construction side of the business could still see what had taken place and helped to raise the morale of the staff as a whole.
