We were delighted to film the Sport Birmingham promotional video for the fifth Inclusive Sports Fest held in the city this June. The event focuses on disability sport in Birmingham and it provides taster sessions and opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to get involved in sport. The launch event took place at the brand new University of Birmingham sports centre which provided the sports hall for the activities which included speeches by the invited ambassadors and opportunities for participants to have a go at a variety of sports. In attendance at the event were the Lord Mayor of Birmingham as well as sporting ambassadors from the disability sporting world including the Inclusive Sports Fest’s main ambassador Ceara Toal who is a striker for the Great Britain women’s deaf football team. The Sport Birmingham promotional video features Ceara as well as some of the wide range of sports that are on view from traditional activities like wheelchair basketball, boccia and tennis to some lesser known sports such as indoor fishing and table cricket.
The best thing about filming this event for us here at CMA Video is that we have seen it grow over the years that we have been involved. This is the fifth year that Sport Birmingham has organised the Inclusive Sports Fest and we are proud to say that we have filmed every single year. Since it’s inception in 2012 at Alexander Stadium, the event has gotten bigger and bigger and the event filming remit has grown with it. Our event videographers have worked with many sports events and produced both a number of sports videos and disability sport themed videos too. Whilst there is a lot of action and activity taking place at the same time, its an event that our filming team always enjoy being involved in and look forward to each year.
