Our production team have been tasked with creating a promotional video for The Active Wellbeing Society highlighting their family activities programme in Birmingham this summer. While we drew upon our experience of filming sporting activities with Sport Birmingham and other organisations, we also had to capture the non-sporting offerings of the programme. There were indoor arts and crafts on offer too and our brief was to get as much of the programme’s diversity as possible to demonstrate that there was something for everyone taking place throughout the scheme.
The production involved utilising our steadicam kit and working with children and adults to capture not only the activity taking place but the fun and enjoyment of the day from all the participants. In addition we captured soundbites from the people taking part to create an overview promotional video. The Active Wellbeing Society will be using their promotional video on social media and on their website in preparation for the next round of activity programmes.
The commission from Birmingham based The Active Wellbeing Society follows on from our other recent event filming projects. Our work has involved creating a promotional video for a variety of events ranging from conferences, exhibitions, seminars and sports events. Our production team has vast experience in capturing the key moments from events and producing a promotional video that provides a highlight of what has taken place.
