Everyone at CMA Video has been celebrating after our Production Manager, Jack Buck won an award at the Solihull Chamber of Commerce Awards event. Jack was nominated for Young Achiever of the Year at the event held at the Holiday Inn Birmingham Airport and came out as the overall winner. Having been nominated initially back in April, he attended an interview with the Judges in August and discovered that he had won on October 7th
It sealed a fantastic awards event for CMA Video as we were commissioned to film the awards for the fourth consecutive year, marketing manager Adam Snelleksz was a judge for the Outstanding Employee and Customer Care categories and Adam also presented an award at the event too.
Jack, however, was the star of the show and while he was filming the event it was announced that he had won his award. He had to leave his camera to collect his award on the stage, have his picture taken and then return to filming the rest of the event.
Jack was up against a strong field of nominees including employees from Hogarth’s Hotel, Holiday Inn and UK Power Reserve but his performance at the judge’s interviews stage of the competition was highlighted as the thing that put him head and shoulders above the rest.

Jack has worked with CMA Video for over three years and has been involved with all manner of projects including our most recent Sea Life Centre/Finding Dory TV and cinema ad campaign. Part of the nomination submission included his recent animation and design of a 3D blue tang fish in that advert that received approval by the team at Disney Pixar before it went to air across the UK in cinemas and on Sky 1 and the Disney Channel.
He is also a music producer and has made several music videos and albums which are available on Spotify, iTunes and more.
We are all immensely proud of Jack and his achievement and hope that he enjoys his prizes!
