The West Midlands PA Awards returned to Birmingham for the fourth year and we were delighted to be working on the event filming project again to capture all of the festivities that took place. The annual celebration of personal assistants, executive assistants and virtual assistants saw awards presented for recognition and great service in the industry. Nominations came from the members of the West Midlands PA Forum and was led by the PA Forum’s founder, Daniel Skermer.
Once again, our event filming expertise was employed to capture all the action from the main awards to the entertainment and everything else involved on the night. As a partner to the event, this latest event filming project followed on from filming at the PA Forum conference which took place in May in Solihull. To complete the events programme, there will be the inaugural East Midlands PA Forum taking place later in the year too.
The awards feature more than just prize giving for the PA industry as there is entertainment and an overall celebration of the vital work that personal assistants do throughout the year with representatives from some of the biggest companies in the UK attending and nominating their staff.
From an event filming point of view, our remit was to capture as much of the excitement and celebrations as possible and the final edit is to create a ‘sizzle reel’. The sizzle reel will be a short overview video which the PA Forum will use to promote future events on social media channels, the website and in email communication to members and partner organisations.
