CMA Video director, Adam Snelleksz, was selected as an O2 business advisor in the mobile phone company’s drive to work with small businesses in Birmingham. Working in conjunction with Enterprise Nation and O2 Business, Adam gave a presentation around video and marketing to a room of small business owners at the O2 store in Birmingham city centre.
The 12 month scheme has seen some of the most well known and leading figures in the digital sector in Birmingham presenting on a monthly basis in their specialist areas ranging from social media to funding, startup advice and PR. The focus on the digital landscape around these and other subjects coincides with the O2 Business roll out of supporting small businesses from a digital perspective and making their stores a digital hub for the business community. The store in New Street in Birmingham city centre has been redesigned to become a flagship store for the brand both for the O2 business and consumer sides.
Speaking after his presentation in July, Adam said:
“I felt privileged to be asked by the O2 Business team and Enterprise Nation to be one of their small business digital advisors. When I saw the other people who were also taking part it was great to be in such good company. I hope that along with the other advisors, we can pass on our respective knowledge and experience in our fields.
I really enjoyed giving my presentation and hope that all of the people in the audience managed to take some useful information away on video production and video marketing for business. To be talking in the O2 flagship store was a huge thrill as well and it looks like a great place for both O2 customers and non-customers to come along and find out more about the digital developments coming up.”
The invitation to talk on behalf of O2 Business comes after Adam has also given presentations for Solihull Council and the Chamber of Commerce amongst others in recent years.
