Our camera crew are currently working with BMET on a number of projects and this week we have been filming with Jaguar Land Rover to showcase their involvement in the Skillman Project. The project in the UK is co-ordinated with organisations in Denmark and Italy and our promotional video features representatives from JLR talking about their involvement in the project and the connections they have forged with BMET. The UK element of the scheme is based around the development and advancement of robotics in the workplace and features the robotics element of building the Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles at the site in Castle Bromwich as well as at the other JLR plants across the UK.
The promotional video for BMET will be a showpiece marketing tool to demonstrate not only the links that the college has with high profile local business but also to demonstrate the cutting edge technology that students at the college potentially have access to. It will also serve as providing information about the motor industry and demonstrating some of the alternative opportunities that are available to get involved in this sector going beyond the traditional ideas of what jobs are connected to it. The video has a dual purpose for BMET, firstly to show students and potential students about the possibilities and opportunities that are available at the college.
Secondly it will also serve as communication tool to other businesses and organisations to demonstrate the calibre of company that BMET works with and serve as a possible recruiter for other businesses to get involved.
