Our team were commissioned for a Birmingham event filming project with construction company Bouygues who hosted a day long event at the Innovation Birmingham campus near to Aston University. As tenants of the campus in the iCentrum building this was a great opportunity for us to film literally where we work.
The all day event saw a split in the proceedings with the morning dedicated to
local school students presenting their designs for the Future City Challenge while the afternoon saw local startup businesses in attendance pitching for the Matching Up event. An array of models were on display, designed and built by the students, and each team of students was then asked to present their ideas and the workings of their models. A similar set up in the Matching Up event saw startups pitching their ideas to a panel of judges based around the Smart Birmingham initiative.
