Autumn Fair Filming At The NEC, Birmingham

We managed to get a sneak peek into what will be making its way into the shops over the coming months this week as we filmed for a new client at the Autumn Fair at the NEC this week.  Our filming focused on the huge stand that our client had created at the Autumn Fair event but the product based videos will cover the thousands of products that will be on sale for Christmas and beyond.

As traders, retailers, manufacturers and designers converged on the NEC from around the world our brief is to create a series of social media videos that focus on the Christmas market, the everyday decoration market and also taking into account the likes of Halloween, Easter and events like weddings, christenings etc.

Covering four halls at the NEC the event is on for four days with products on show ranging from toys and novelty items to home decorations, gifts and furniture.  While our film crew managed to capture everything required by the client to create the social media promotional videos they also managed to see what will be the big hits and the major sellers in retail in 2017.

Our exhibition filming at the Autumn Fair comes after we’ve created other event video projects at the likes of Resorts World for Cineworld and across the world for software company IDBS.  We’ve also previously filmed an exhibition video at the Skills Show at the NEC.  In this instance we used our Glidecam to capture the look and feel of the stand as visitors can walk in and around it as well as filming around the whole exhibition across all of the halls of the Autumn Fair.
