Interview filming that captures real stories
Interviews are one of the most effective ways to capture a story on camera. They are widely used in promotional videos, customer testimonials, event content and training videos.
A well filmed interview allows people to speak in their own words, sharing real experiences and insights without the pressure of memorising a script. With the right planning and approach, interviews feel relaxed, engaging and authentic.
We are well aware that the interview stage is the scariest aspect for most people, so we take time to prepare questions carefully, ensuring key messages are covered while allowing space for natural conversation. This balance helps contributors feel comfortable and produces content that audiences trust.
Single camera interviews are a simple and effective option for promotional videos, case studies and testimonials. They are quick to set up and work well when the focus is on the contributor and their story.
With an experienced interviewer and a calm filming environment, these conversations feel natural and engaging.
Multi camera setups add flexibility and visual depth. A second camera can capture an alternative angle, include the interviewer, or show more of the surrounding environment.
This approach is particularly useful for longer form interviews, studio settings and office based content where visual variety supports the story.
Scripted pieces to camera can ensure specific wording is included, but they often feel stiff, especially for people who are not used to presenting on camera.
Interviews allow contributors to speak naturally, which leads to a more relaxed delivery and genuine responses. Audiences tend to connect more easily with conversational content because it feels human and believable.
By planning interview questions carefully, we make sure important points are covered while giving contributors the freedom to expand on their answers. This creates depth, clarity and authenticity.
You don’t have to get it right first time, and longer sections can be broken down into bite-size chunks, that’s what editing is for right? Multiple camera shoots also allow us to cut and the paste the best sections together, simply by switching between cameras in the edit.
A previous client once remarked to one of his staff, who was being interviewed “don’t worry if you mess up, these guys will magically make you seem like a seasoned presenter”. That is essence of what we’re about, and let’s face it, we're not here to make you look stupid.
