Film a student led promotional video for student accommodation at The University of Birmingham giving the platform for a peer to peer presentation

The client wanted a student led video which gave a ‘real’ account of what it’s like to live in the student accommodation rather than a corporate style video that wouldn’t appeal to the target audience. The only issue was to create a video production that appealed to the prospective students who would be living there and their parents too. We created a storyboard that included working with some of the students to understand the types of things that they wanted to feature and talk about. Then from the production point of view we directed the students for their respective elements of the video. The end result was something that would appeal to both sections of the audience giving prospective students an idea of life in the halls of residence and parents the confirmation that it is a quality accommodation offer for their children to go to.
