Hays Recruitment engaged with CMA Video to film their conference held at Millennium Point in Birmingham. The conference brought together many key speakers from the world of recruitment, employment and employee development. The three day conference took place at Millennium Point and featured networking, an expo and key speeches in the theatre at the venue.
We were commissioned to film the event in partnership with iOne Photography who captured still images while we filmed the proceedings. The biggest challenge was the lighting in the lecture theatre which proved to be extremely dark but our production team were able to deal with it. The brief also included a quick turnaround of the video so that Hays Recruitment could use it for social media. We were asked to film the proceedings on the first day, edit the footage on the second day ready for Hays Recruitment to use it on their social channels by the third day.
The project represents another event filming production for our production team where the crew will go to the event, capture all of the key features and elements and even soundbites where necessary. Although it wasn’t required for this Hays Recruitment project, we can also film keynote speeches in their entirety, breakout sessions and workshops. We have done this type of filming with these requirements for the likes of WHG and the PA Forum recently.
